Joan Gray

Joan graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Fine Art and began her career in advertising as a graphic designer and illustrator.

She started up her own company, Grayter Art Services Inc., and still handles the design and production of any print literature, ranging from corporate identity packages, annual reports and advertising to magazine illustration, cartooning and promotional material.

Joan has always enjoyed painting in watercolour or acrylics and sells her original works privately, accepting commissions as well. Being a great animal-lover, she found she particularly liked painting the pets of friends and relatives, trying to capture the particular personalities of the animals in her realistic style.  An apparent market for this unique genre of art inspired Pet Portraits in Watercolour, a business for Joan which is growing every day.
